For a client, we are seeking a Project Manager Security for a long-term engagement starting with an initial 6-month period, followed by extensions until the end of 2024, with the possibility of further 6-month renewals until the end of 2026.
Location: Brussel (Onsite presence required for a minimum of 2 days per week)
Project Duration: Start immediately, with an initial term of 6 months and potential extensions until the end of 2026.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the "security boost" program, addressing security compliance (ISO27K/NIS2), IAM, Active Directory security, mainframe security, BCP, and secure development.
- Coordinate and steer project managers, assuming the PM role for certain projects.
- Engage multiple stakeholders and align with domains outside the security department.
- Demonstrate progress and ensure regular production of deliverables.
- Deliver the security strategy through the program.
- Execute effective people management within different teams.
- Define project timelines and milestones.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities within project groups.
- Manage risks and issues related to delivery.
- Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between sub-projects.
- Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
- Manage internal staff and/or external contractors.
- Propose technical solutions and innovations proactively.
- Report progress, issues, and risks to the steering committee.
- Install a "project review" process for continuous qualitative delivery.
- Manage project budgets.

Methodology/Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in Program/Project Management in the IT sector.
- Track record of driving large IT or security programs (over €1M) in organizations with 1000+ employees.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO27K, NIST).
- Knowledge of BCP principles.
- Security-related certifications are a strong plus.
- Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent.
Language Proficiencies:
- Fluent in Dutch and French.
- Good understanding of English.
