For a client, we are seeking an Integration .NET Developer to join a dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a developer to learn and apply standards and best practices in a central integration team before contributing to business IT department projects.
Job Title: Integration .NET Developer
Project Duration: Expected Start date: Asap for 12 months (with the possibility of extension depending on project evolution)
Location: Brussel
Responsibilities:
- Execute the design, implementation, and unit testing of new development, enhancements, bug fixes, and production updates.
- Document designs as needed and troubleshoot production problems.
- Initiate promotion of code to test, staging, and production environments through change & deployment processes.
- Work within the central integration team to learn standards and best practices before moving to business IT departments.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Mid-level experience (2-5 years) as a software/application .NET developer, specifically on APIs or batch systems.
- Experience on projects with integration aspects & infrastructure aspects.
- Good knowledge and experience of most common integration patterns.
- Experience in integration workflow design.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in web services with .NET WCF technology.
- Proficiency in web API – REST services (JSON, Swagger).
- Proficiency in XML technologies (XSD, XSLT, XPATH, etc.).
- Proficiency in .NET C# & NET framework (from 4.0 to latest).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft developer ecosystem (Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS, etc.).
Desired Skills:
- Experience in batch scheduler integration (e.g., Control-M).
- Experience in integration with Mainframe z/OS applications.
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards such as SAML, OAuth.
- Experience in SQL server SSIS.
- Experience in Microsoft BizTalk technology.
- Knowledge of Dynamics CRM.
- Experience in automated performance & load testing.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing).
- Fluent in either Dutch or French, with at least a basic knowledge of the other language.
