Mission Context:

We are looking for an expert functional analyst to support ongoing efforts to develop and optimize a Mortgages application. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, particularly in Java code and ecosystems, with TIBCO services knowledge being a strong asset. The candidate should be able to deep dive into the existing architecture to identify areas for improvement. The objective of the project is to replace the current TIBCO orchestration services with a Java-based layer (in Spring 5), as well as integrate new credit origination functionalities ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to the application's functionality. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the existing TIBCO services at first, but then also the new business functionalities, in collaboration with the development team to ensure a smooth transition.

Function Description:

• Be part of an Agile team, consisting of a Developer, Tester, Product Owner, and Scrum Master, and collaborate with stakeholders, Business Analysts, and architects.
• Analyze business needs, create functional details, and find suitable software solutions while minimizing risks and costs.
• Describe functional and technical analyses and align with DEV/TEST colleagues to ensure a unified understanding of the solution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate with internal and external clients, using functional knowledge to challenge client needs and propose alternatives.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts and identify dependencies between deliverables, organizing work accordingly.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures, networking and sharing knowledge within the team and tribe.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Sound knowledge of English as well as (at least) one local language.
• French: Sound knowledge of English as well as (at least) one local language.
• English: Sound knowledge of English as well as (at least) one local language.

Education / Certification / Telework Expectation:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical background in software development, with a focus on Java
• Proven experience in analyzing complex systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing efficient solutions
• Excellent understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and integration principles
• Preferable XSD/XSLT TIBCO

Business Experience:

• Experience in a large corporation environment
