Platform Support Engineer

Location: West-Vlaanderen

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of the internal development platform.
  • Proactively detect bottlenecks and identify improvements for the product development team.
  • Deploy and configure new features and services within the internal development platform.
  • Assist development teams by following DevOps principles and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to platform components, resources, and deployments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Azure.
  • Azure Administrator Associate certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes environments.
  • Skilled in monitoring and observability, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable product improvements.
  • Experienced in software development lifecycles and deployment pipelines.
  • Affinity with software development; familiarity with the Java Spring stack is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both infrastructure and product development teams.
  • Eager to investigate complex challenges, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and think outside of the box.
