Senior Team Leader - Project Manager (Application)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

Role Description:

You will oversee one of our internal development teams within a department of approximately 90 people. Your responsibilities include managing the transition, refactoring, or greenfield development of new business and technical projects. You will be fully responsible for end-to-end IT delivery within your team of about 14 people, from the initial customer request through to the release of the final application, including maintenance and service management of production applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from mission definition to deployment in production.
• Coordinate one or more teams and monitor all project activities.
• Report to the Program Manager and Department Director.
• Manage escalations and engage stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
• Organize, lead, and develop the team, ensuring staff remain skilled, engaged, and motivated.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Project and Program Management methodologies (Prince2).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Change Management.
• Ability to abstract and simplify complex information.
• Good understanding of lean processes and continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in team leadership.
• Solution and customer-oriented mindset.
