As a Platform Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for ensuring the reliability, evolution and effectiveness of the our Internal Developer Platform (IDP). Your focus is on supporting our developer community, implementing product features within the platform, and maintaining the stability of our platform ecosystem to ensure a seamless developer experience.
Platform operations: Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of the internal development platform.
Improvement detection: Proactively monitor to detect bottlenecks. You will identify and define improvements to be implemented by the product development team.
Feature implementation: Deploy and configure new features and services within the internal development platform.
Developer enablement: Assist development teams following DevOps principles and processes.
Incident management: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to platform components, resources, and deployments.
Requirements:
Azure expertise: You have at least 2 years of professional experience in Azure. Azure Administrator Associate certification is a plus.
Kubernetes: You have proven experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes environments.
Analytical mindset: You are skilled in monitoring and observability, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable product improvements.
CI/CD: Experienced in software development lifecycles and deployment pipelines.
Software Affinity: You have an affinity with software development; familiarity with the Java Spring stack is a plus.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both infrastructure and product development teams.
Curiosity: You are eager to investigate complex challenges, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and love thinking outside of the box.
