ICT Project Manager – Equipment Integration
Start Date: 16/03/2026
Duration: 1 year, with possible extension
Work Regime: Full-time
Location: Leuven (Onsite presence required 3 days a week; remote work possible for the remaining days)
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including deliverables, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, and testing strategy. Ensure projects adhere to agreed standards and methodologies, including quality gating and thorough testing activities.
- Infrastructure & Technical Setup: Oversee the setup and configuration of ICT environments. Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system stability and performance. Coordinate installation and configuration of specific hardware components. Ensure proper NTP configuration and clock synchronization across integrated systems. Identify and mitigate risks related to infrastructure and integration activities.
- Access & Governance: Manage access rights setup and maintenance in collaboration with relevant teams. Ensure compliance with internal IT security and policies.
- Operational Setup: Define and establish the support model, including roles, responsibilities, SLAs, and escalation paths. Organize training sessions and ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance, organize project team meetings and steering committees. Present key decision points and provide regular reporting on progress, budget, risks, and issues.
- Handover to Operations: Ensure complete knowledge transfer and operational readiness before project closure. Support post-go-live stabilization and ensure smooth transition to support teams.
- Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for the equipment team regarding all ICT work.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in infrastructure or hardware integration projects, ideally in an industrial context.
- Strong background in project and change management.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts (environments, monitoring, access management, synchronization).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, SAFe).

Technical Tools Expertise:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, OneDrive, etc.).
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and IT infrastructure environments is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with hardware integration projects.
- Familiarity with defining operational support models.
- Previous experience in complex, fast-paced technical environments.
