For a client in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior .NET Application Architect.

Work arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days on-site in Brussels and 3 days remote

Role and Key Responsibilities

As an Application Architect, you are responsible for the evolution of the IT system and application landscape architecture. You support development teams in delivering quality in line with client and product management objectives. You make the architectural vision clear and actionable for the teams, explaining the value and functioning of models, standards, and patterns.

You define the application and integration architecture for the complete rewrite of a key business application in a cloud-based environment.

Required Experience and Competencies

Level: Senior
Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
Minimum 10 years of experience as a hands-on Application Architect
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Agile architecture environment (SAFe – Scaled Agile Framework)
Business knowledge of the social status of self-employed workers is a plus

Language Requirements

• Native speaker of one of the national languages (Dutch or French)

• Fluent communication (written and spoken) in the national language

Technical Skills

• .NET with microservices

• Knowledge and use of architecture frameworks and tooling (Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture)

• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is a plus

• NServiceBus

• Setup and use of Azure cloud computing services, gRPC, Dapr, Azure SQL

• Setup and use of container solutions (e.g., ACA, AKS)

• SAFe – Scaled Agile Framework
