Location:
Flexibility to work both from office premises and remotely from home. An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the new website for the Belgian AI Factory Antenna (BE-AIFA).
- Upgrade the Flanders AI Research Program (FAIR) website to a new backend system, including restyling and reshaping.
- Organize the FAIR Internal Research Day on May 12, 2026, for 250-300 participants, including practical arrangements for venue, catering, registrations, and on-site organization.
- Organize the launch event of the Belgian AI Factory Antenna in mid-August to September 2026.
- Address any additional needs that may arise with the launch of BE-AIFA.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in organizing technology events for 200-300 people.
- Experience with websites for technological (funded) projects/programs, targeting the AI ecosystem in Flanders and Belgium.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to plan and execute tasks autonomously while adapting flexibly to changes.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
