Information/Data Architect - BCBS239 & Regulatory Compliance

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Information/Data Architect with a strong focus on BCBS239 and regulatory compliance to lead the implementation and enhancement of data platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure data architecture aligns with regulatory requirements, particularly in data lineage and data quality. The environment includes both Oracle Exadata and Azure Synapse Delta Lakehouse, so knowledge of both is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with data governance teams and data warehouse teams to understand their data needs and regulatory requirements.
• Translate existing data governance policy and guidelines into actionable technical designs and solutions for lineage and data quality.
• Coordinate data platform teams to implement the technical designs.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to design and implement compliant data pipelines and data processing systems.
• Continuously monitor and optimize data architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and regulatory adherence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data architecture and data governance.
• Proven experience with BCBS239 implementation, particularly with data lineage and data quality, is a strong advantage.
• Experience with both on-premise systems (Oracle Exadata) and Azure cloud systems (Synapse Delta Lakehouse).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Project coordination and project management skills.
• Language proficiency in Dutch/French & English.
• Senior level with 9 - 15 years of experience.
