Digital Lab Systems Support Specialist

Position Overview:

Join the Digital Lab Systems Support team, responsible for operational support, lifecycle management, and IT infrastructure of computerized lab systems across QC, MSAT, and Manufacturing departments, covering both GMP and non-GMP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of computerized lab systems, including architecture design, implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Installation & Configuration: Develop and maintain installation procedures and detailed architecture/design specifications for lab systems; apply best-practice configurations.
• Operational Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support; perform troubleshooting, performance analysis, and maintenance activities for lab applications and associated infrastructure.
• Disaster Recovery: Ensure backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans are in place, maintained, and periodically tested.
• Validation & Compliance: Support validation and qualification activities for GxP lab applications; ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate and local ITS/GMP procedures.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with QC, MSAT, MFG, QA, and Validation teams, as well as vendors and corporate Digital teams.
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide IT expertise to QA and Validation departments; assist in documenting architecture and design specifications for GMP lab systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft OS (Windows 10, 11; Server 2016, 2022, 2025 is a plus), networking (TCP/IP, Active Directory, Antivirus, remote administration), and scripting (DOS command line, VBScript, PowerShell).
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft systems and applications.
• Ability to write detailed, accurate technical specifications and installation instructions.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Knowledge of GMP, GAMP5, and CFR 21 Part 11; understanding of validation and qualification methodology.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, service-oriented, flexible, well-organized, able to work independently and collaboratively, takes ownership and initiative.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar GMP lab systems support role.
• Experience working in a multi-site or international environment.
• Experience with agile way of working.
• Expert level with over 10 years of experience.
