For 1 of our clients we are looking for a Senior Data Developer (+10 years of experience).

Method

Developers are expected to actively participate in the dynamics of the Scrum ‑ team, realize the pre-analyzed developments and perform unit tests. This role requires continuous collaboration with the functional analyst and the testers, starting from the early stage of each story. Essential elements of the function are anticipation, technical accuracy, attention to quality, organizational flexibility and communication between teams.

As a Senior Consultant, you are also expected to transfer knowledge to junior colleagues.

Project
The consultant will participate in a strategic project in which a monolithic application is rewritten into a microservices ‑ based architecture, integrating modules developed outside the ICT ‑ department, as well as developing new functionalities. This application includes debt management, payment allocation, debt follow-up, recovery management, document generation and exchange with external partners (banks, etc.).

Within this new architecture, data is updated in the form of caches, data doctors or archived data views.
Standardized data mining tools are developed in Python and Java and supported in production. These tools are considered essential services for the operation of the entire application.

The data specialist ‑ consultant will be assigned to these mining tools and will be responsible for their updates as new usage scenarios for the data sets emerge. Tools for monitoring transactions, messages and business flows are also developed internally and need to be optimized and supported.

An internal employee has been appointed as a Data ‑ architect and will control the production ‑ implementation and the design activities. The Data ‑ architect will provide instructions for the integration tests.
