Job Title: Business Analyst & Developer
Location: Waals-Brabant (Mandatory: 2 days per week on-site in Braine-l’Alleud)
Start Date: ASAP (February–March latest)
End Date: End of December 2026 (extension possible based on cloud migration timeline)
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) systems, primarily Idbs/Biovia.
- Develop and maintain ELN templates, workflows, and technical components.
- Contribute to broader digital transformation initiatives within CMC labs.
- Prepare and support the Idbs migration roadmap from Desktop to Web Client and Web Client to Cloud.
- Participate in system integrations, including equipment connections, APIs, and data platforms.
- Collaborate closely with scientists, lab technicians, IT teams, digital leadership, and business owners.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for project and development tracking.
Must-have Requirements:
- Hands-on development experience with ELN systems, ideally Idbs.
- Previous involvement in ELN implementation or laboratory digitalization projects.
- Strong technical profile with an understanding of digital lab ecosystems and system integrations.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Ability to interact effectively with IT and scientific stakeholders.
Nice-to-have Requirements:
- Experience with Biovia or other ELNs.
- Knowledge of related systems such as sample management and MES/manufacturing systems.
- Industry experience in pharma, chemical, or food sectors.
- Understanding of architecture/system integration.
- Experience using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with on-prem to cloud transitions.
Interview Process:
- First screening interview with the manager (Digital Business Analyst – CMC).
- Second interview with the hiring manager once available.
