ICT Observability Engineer

The Assignment:

• Implement and maintain observability platforms and telemetry pipelines across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise).
• Instrument systems and applications using OpenTelemetry to collect logs, metrics, and traces.
• Build and optimize dashboards, alerts, and service maps to monitor performance and reliability.
• Support incident analysis and root cause identification through observability data.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to improve monitoring, automation, and service visibility.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong experience with observability tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenTelemetry, SigNoz, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Good understanding of monitoring concepts including logs, metrics, traces, and alerting.
• Experience with hybrid and cloud environments (Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems).
• Scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with ITSM or incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and SLO/SLA/SLI principles.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills to work across technical teams.

Location:

Flexibility to work both from office premises and remotely from home to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being an integral part of our team. An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required. It is not possible to work 100% remote.
