Technical Transition Coordinator

Start Date: May 2026

Contract Duration: Until the end of 2027

Key Responsibilities:

Transition Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain detailed transition plans and checklists.
  • Coordinate technical onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Ensure all transition activities align with project scope, SLAs, and business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for transition-related communication.
  • Liaise between internal technical teams, vendors, clients, and business units.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and progress updates.

Technical Knowledge Transfer

  • Coordinate documentation handovers, system access transfers, and process walkthroughs.
  • Ensure critical technical knowledge is captured and shared with relevant teams.
  • Support training sessions during transition phases.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify transition risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track, escalate, and help resolve transition-related issues.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical systems.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate transition documentation, including asset inventories and configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and governance requirements.
  • Verify that all operational and support documentation is complete before handover.

Service Continuity

  • Work closely with operations and support teams to prevent service disruptions.
  • Coordinate testing and validation of systems post-transition.
  • Monitor early-life support after go-live or handover.

Conformity Criteria:

  • Minimum 15 years of professional IT experience, including 10 years in similar roles.
  • Proven experience in transition between outsourcing partners.
  • Fluent communication in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written). Dutch or French as a mother tongue or at least C level, the other language at least B2 level. For English at least level B2.
  • The candidate must be available to start the assignment no later than 06/04/2026.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Over 10 years of experience in the IT infrastructure domain (servers, networks, cloud platforms).
  • Over 10 years of experience working with outsourcing partners.
  • Over 10 years of experience in coordinating activities such as technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, asset and configuration records.
  • Over 10 years of experience managing complex workstreams with structured plans and tracking tools.
  • Over 10 years of experience coordinating transitions between outsourcing partners.
