Location: Gosselies, 2 days per week onsite & 3 days remote

Languages: French & English

Role Overview:

The Scrum Master will support the Markets tribe, which focuses on addressing challenges related to market exchanges, services, and data management. The role involves guiding Agile teams through the Scrum framework, acting as a servant leader and facilitator. The Scrum Master will help establish teams, foster agility, and drive continuous improvement to enhance product quality and maximize value.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Scrum working environment and ensure adherence to Agile principles.

  • Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Daily, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Refinement meetings, retrospectives, and story mapping.
  • Maintain and prioritize product and sprint backlogs, ensuring sufficient backlog depth.
  • Define and uphold the "Definition of Ready" (DoR) and "Definition of Done" (DoD).
  • Communicate task progress transparently with stakeholders, providing relevant metrics (velocity, burndown, story points, etc.).
  • Identify and remove impediments.
  • Provide visibility and transparency on Sprint progress.
  • Foster team dynamics and ensure delivery pace.
  • Guide teams towards autonomy, responsibility, continuous improvement, and focus on Sprint goals.
  • Protect teams from interference.
  • Promote and facilitate communication between development teams.
  • Strengthen the agile approach within Product and Factory teams and provide coaching.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Scrum Master certification or commitment to obtain one.

  • Proven experience with backlog management tools.
  • Proven experience in IT project teams.
  • Senior level (more than 5 years) experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Medior level (3 to 5 years) Scrum Master training.
  • French language proficiency at C2 level (CEFR).
  • English language proficiency at C2 level (CEFR).

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience implementing an Agile framework in an organization.

  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Proven experience with Kanban or SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience in data-oriented projects.
  • Proven experience in the energy sector.

Soft Skills:

  • Mentor with initiative-taking abilities.
