Private Satellite Communication Network Engineer

Location: Brussel (2 days per week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to define the design and implementation of private satellite communication solutions, focusing on data traffic management, network management systems, central hub configuration, and more.
- Serve as a technical expert to validate and contribute to the design and implementation proposed by contractors, and drive issue resolution.
- Act as a single point of contact and coach for various teams to adopt and implement new technology.
- Draft and execute acceptance test plans and technical documentation to support mass roll-out across multiple sites.
- Support project management by defining project planning and priorities, participating in follow-up meetings, and reporting on project progress, issues, and risks.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of private satellite communication technology.
- Experience with the implementation of private satellite communication or other microwave technology.
- Ability to quickly assimilate new technical information and possess strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in editing technical architectural, design, and implementation documentation.
- Ability to work independently and methodically, with strong project management and reporting skills.
- Leadership mentality and team-player attitude.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
- Valid driver’s license B.
Work Regime: Full-time
Onsite Presence: 2 days per week required
