Job Title: Data Engineer (Medior–Senior) – Databricks Focus
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 year (extension possible - long-term assignment)
Regime: Full-time, 2-3 days onsite required

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize data solutions on Databricks, focusing on reliable ingestion, transformation, and analytics use cases.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to business and IT stakeholders, explaining platform capabilities, trade-offs, and best-fit technical solutions.
- Translate data and analytics requirements into practical, scalable implementations within the existing data ecosystem.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape data platform evolution, with an eye on performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Support data consumers (analytics, reporting, data science) by delivering high-quality, well-documented datasets.
- Collaborate closely with other data engineers, analysts, and solution architects to ensure alignment and reuse of best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer (medior–senior level).
- Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, orchestration, optimization).
- Very good command of Python and SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure) and data lake/lakehouse concepts.
- Solid understanding of batch processing; exposure to streaming is a plus.
- Experience with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset.
