Full Stack Java Developer

Location:

Brussels, 2 days in the office, 3 days remote

 

Languages:

Dutch or French, plus English

As a senior fullstack developer, you will work in a Scrum environment, where you will play a key role in the technical development and quality of our software solutions.
You will work closely with several Scrum teams and contribute to the evolutionary development of our applications.

Tasks and responsibilities:   

• Technical analysis: Translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions. 
• Development of new features: Implement scalable and efficient Java solutions.
• Maintenance and support: support and optimize existing applications in a complex IT environment.
• Bug fixing and troubleshooting: analyze and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other teams. 
• Test automation: integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for stable software delivery.
• Documentation: Keep technical documentation, best practices, and architectural decisions up to date.
• Deployment and versioning: Install and deploy new software versions in an on-premises environment. 
• Code quality and best practices: Oversee compliance with the clean code, SOLID principles, and security best practices. 
• Mentoring and knowledge sharing: mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to the continuous development of knowledge within the team.  After extensive training, you are ready to participate in guard duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
