Test Engineer

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Quarterly contracts

Work Regime: Full-time, 2 fixed office days per week in Antwerp region.

Languages: English/(Dutch)

Role Description:

The role also includes assisting in configuration setups and documentation of solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business, functional, and technical analysis of new products.
• Design and solutioning for new implementations.
• Configure reference data.
• Coordinate technical implementations and validations for new end-to-end flows.
• Document business processes, requirements, and solutions.
• Perform end-to-end validations, including INT, UAT, and PRD validations.
• Coordinate BAT validations.
• Manage test data and create test plans.
• Follow up on defects and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Provide nightly support for releases and fixes.
• Collaborate with third parties and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and validation.
• Document legacy and existing solutions from a full end-to-end perspective ensuring a low-level understanding of all processes and flows.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must have skills:
  • End-to-end testing experience (frontend and backend).
  • Understanding of SQL/DB knowledge.
  • Experience with API knowledge (REST/SOAP).
  • Experienced in Java (17) programming.
  • Experienced in Playwright scripting using Java.
  • Able to configure ELK stack and interpret Kibana dashboards.
  • Able to configure Gitlab and execute/analyze run results.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing environments.
• Nice to have skills:
  • Call tracing and provisioning knowledge.
  • Rating/Billing knowledge.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with TestNG test execution.
