E-Workplace System Engineer

Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)

Languages: English is required. Proficiency in French or Dutch is an advantage.

Role Overview:

As an E-Workplace System Engineer, you will bring expertise and stability to the E-Workplace team. You will act as the central bridge between end users, stores, various IT departments (such as Security, Network, and Cloud), and external vendors. Your primary goal is to manage and develop the digital work environment, with a particular focus on the Google Workspace ecosystem. You will support the team's strategic objectives and act as an experienced "helping hand" for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management & Optimization: Install, configure, and manage operating systems and software, focusing on Google Workspace and MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.

• Project Management: Actively participate in project deployments and collaborate with developers and architects on integration projects.
• Support & Monitoring: Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and monitor infrastructure performance to proactively resolve bottlenecks and malfunctions.
• Automation: Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
• Security: Work closely with IT Security to implement patches and ensure information confidentiality.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with vendors and serve as a diplomatic link between the business and IT.

Technical Skills:

• Solid expertise in Google Workspace, MDM, FACM, and telephony systems.

• Experience in the retail sector is a significant asset.

Soft Skills & Languages:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• Languages: Fluent in English. Proficiency in French or Dutch is highly beneficial for interaction with various sites and stores.
• Personality: Calm, composed, and mature temperament. Structured working style, diplomatic, and a genuine ability to build relationships.
