Senior Consultant in Reporting & Analytics

For a client, we are seeking a Senior Consultant in Reporting & Analytics with over 10 years of experience. The role is primarily remote with the possibility of 1 to 2 days on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting Strategy & Transformation
   • Support the definition and evolution of the reporting and analytics strategy.
   • Assess and optimize the current reporting landscape, including tools, processes, and governance.
   • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting through automation, standardization, and AI.
2. Generative AI in Reporting
   • Drive the integration of Generative AI capabilities into reporting solutions, such as Power BI Copilot.
   • Explore and implement use cases to enhance insights generation, user interaction, and decision-making.
   • Provide guidance on best practices and scalability of AI-enabled reporting.
3. Solution Architecture & Data Landscape
   • Contribute to the architecture design of reporting solutions.
   • Ensure alignment between reporting tools, data platforms, and enterprise architecture.
   • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines.
4. Data & Technology Expertise
   • Work hands-on with Power BI (advanced reporting, modeling, dashboards) and Qlik Sense.
   • Utilize data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
   • Employ ETL tools such as Informatica or similar.
   • Ensure data quality, scalability, and performance of reporting solutions.
5. Project & Portfolio Management
   • Lead or support day-to-day management of reporting projects.
   • Coordinate stakeholders across business and IT, including EU, US, and global teams.
   • Provide visibility on progress, risks, and priorities.
   • Contribute to portfolio management of reporting and analytics initiatives.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
   • Act as a bridge between business teams, data teams, and leadership.
   • Translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions.
   • Support alignment across regions and functions.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in designing and managing reporting landscapes.
• Experience integrating or scaling Generative AI in analytics/reporting environments.
• Strong track record in delivering complex reporting or data transformation projects.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced expertise in Power BI (both strategic and hands-on).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, such as Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica or equivalent.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures and reporting ecosystems.

Other Skills:
