Fab Reporting Business Analyst
Start Date: 01/08/2026
Duration: 2 years, with the possibility of extension
Work Regime: Full-time
Location: Leuven, flexibility to work both from office premises and remotely from home. An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required.
Responsibilities:
- Understand needs and business processes related to operational data within the Fab.
- Build data products and reports to assist various departments in steering their operations.
- Interact with stakeholders to translate their needs into user requirements and reporting proposals.
- Create prototypes and wireframes to validate proposals.
- Define report performance, latency, and data retention requirements.
- Perform integration testing and user acceptance testing in collaboration with the business.
- Create user documentation for reports and data products.
- Provide business support, including issue resolution and user training/coaching.
- Collaborate with solution architects and data engineers for projects requiring ICT involvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electronics, Materials Science, Chemistry), Exact Sciences, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, manipulation, visualization, or data modeling for analytics (e.g., Kimball).
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, or Power Query/Power BI is a strong asset.
- Experience with self-service BI is a strong asset.
- Experience in manufacturing or the process industry.
- Understanding of data objects like workpiece, process flow, and measurement results.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processing is a strong asset.
- Strong technical communication skills and the ability to engage with internal stakeholders.
- Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and organize work autonomously.
- Fluency in English is essential due to the international work environment.
