SAP Project Manager
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: 06/07/2026
- Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of extension
- Work Regime: Full-time
- Location: Onsite presence required 3 days a week, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan for SAP and other applications, detailing deliverables, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies. Motivate and support the project team to achieve objectives.
- Rollout Strategy & Planning: Define rollout strategy and deployment sequencing across countries. Develop detailed rollout plans, including timelines and cutover approach.
- Template Governance: Ensure adherence to the global SAP S4 template, balancing standardization with localization requirements.
- Vendor Management: Manage and coordinate ICT vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance, organize team meetings and steering committees, and present key elements for decision-making. Regularly report on project progress, budget, risks, and issues.
- Execution Excellence: Ensure projects are executed in line with agreed standards and methodology, including quality gating and thorough testing. Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Change Management: Lead communication, training, and post-go-live support for successful adoption of the new solution.
- Handover to Operations: Ensure knowledge transfer and operational handover to support partners before project closure.
- Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record in project and change management in complex environments.
- Project Management Methodologies: Strong knowledge of methodologies such as SAP Activate, PRINCE2, SAFe.
- SAP Module Experience: Experience with any SAP module (Finance, HR SuccessFactors, Procurement, etc.) is a strong asset.
- Skills: Team player with a no-nonsense attitude, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.
- Technical Tools Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools and experience with Azure DevOps is a significant advantage.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in SAP Project Delivery within complex, fast-paced environments.
