Network Engineer - junior NOC engineer

Responsibilities:

• Operate within a team supporting company activities that run 24/7.
• Work diligently in preparing and executing changes in both IT and OT environments.
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems.
• Engage in day-to-day operations of the team.
• Analyze and resolve incidents and technical problems.
• Provide support to colleagues in Belgium and other parts of Europe.

General Skills:

• Proficiency in Dutch or French and fluency in English.

• Ability to collaborate with other ICT teams.
• Strong team player with the capability to work independently.
• Possession of a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to Belgian locations if required.

Technical Skills:

• Operational knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto and Checkpoint).

• Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level).
• Familiarity with Cisco CLI.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience using backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication.
• Any OT experience is considered a plus.
• Background in computer science is advantageous.
• Previous relevant working experience is required.

Work Arrangement:

• Full-time in the office for the first three months.

• Hybrid work possible thereafter, with 3 days on-premises and 2 days flexible, subject to work requirements.
