Description and Tasks:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in .NET Azure development to enhance the backend of our Vecchio applications. The ideal candidate will:

• Develop software in .NET (C#).
• Have a solid understanding of CI/CD practices across multiple environments.
• Be experienced with Azure Key Vault, Azure Function, Azure API Management, and Cosmos DB.
• Be proficient in integrating with external systems via SOAP/Rest services.
• Be familiar with OAuth, mocking for testing, and test-driven development.
• Work closely with an agile team to enhance backend services.
• Develop and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Container Apps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments across various environments with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Manage sensitive information using Azure Key Vault.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes with Cosmos DB and Redis Cache.
• Integrate with external systems through SOAP & Rest services and manage authentication using OAuth.
• Write unit tests and employ test-driven development practices to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Understand the technical architecture and re-use existing technical components.
• Make technical analyses of the functional assignments received.
• Document the software developed.
• Offer third-line support.
• Support analysts/designers in converting functional specifications into technical solutions.

Profile and Experience:

• Medior plus with approximately 5 - 7 years of experience in services design.
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in C# / Azure solutions.
• Plan-based, independent, and result-oriented.
• Analytically strong, accurate, and problem-solving.
• Communicative and a real team player.
• Customer focus is very important.
• A hands-on mentality.
• Very good knowledge of English.

Qualifications:

• Broad IT knowledge and interest; terms such as SOA, Web services, unit testing, inheritance, Stored Procedure are familiar.
• Assertive and communicative, a team player.
• Strong analytical skills.

• Eye for quality and initiative to optimize development processes.
• Multilingual (Dutch, English).
• Development experience in Microsoft .NET technology (Azure, C#).
• Experience building SOAP and REST Services in a Microsoft .NET environment.
• Understanding of underlying technologies such as XML/XSD/WSDL/SOAP and JSON/REST.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in an Azure development environment is essential.
• Hosting web services and web applications in Azure Functions.
• Analysis, design, coding, and implementation of customized object-oriented applications.
• Approach design of a relational database model with CosmosDb, Blob/TableStorage.
• Task management with Azure DevOps.
• Source control through Azure DevOps.
• Azure Certification (AZ-204 – Azure Developer).
