Mission Context:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and making data available in a secure manner for various business and functional uses, including reporting, analytics, and applications. Your contributions will enhance productivity for all data consumers by delivering well-designed and operational data assets for both global and specific local needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collect business requirements using various techniques.
• Translate requirements into efficient data solutions by designing data flows, models, and stores.
• Analyze and define the best data sources and integration rules.
• Prototype solutions to support business validation.
• Design and develop logical and physical data models and stores.
• Streamline data pipelines for maximum enterprise-wide usage.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch knowledge is a plus.
• French knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Education:

Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering. A PhD is considered an advantage. Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial analytics knowledge are also encouraged to apply.

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
• Technical experience in modelisation, preferably with PowerDesigner and Data Vault modelisation.

Business Experience:

Preferable experience in relevant business contexts.
