Mission Context:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Visualisation Specialist to join the OPC Control and Reporting Factory, part of Operational and Permanent Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business reporting for OPC. This role requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Support internal customers by realizing various data reporting and visualization projects.
• Understand and identify visualization and reporting needs with stakeholders.
• Capture requirements and translate them into prototypes and full dashboards.
• Collect and assemble data to support visualization prototyping with customers.
• Develop, update, optimize, publish, and decommission dashboards/reports, adhering to data and reporting governance guidelines.
• Strive for optimal solutions for report and dashboard development and automation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to create sustainable data solutions and evolve existing ones in line with new needs.
• Set up, advocate, and implement reporting and visualization best practices.
• Act as a guardian and ambassador of governance.
• Document and train users on maximizing the use of different tools.
• Work on various OPC optimization projects using new data technologies.
• Deliver periodic OPC reporting based on new developments.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

Telework:

50% on-site & 50% homeworking

Required Experience/Knowledge:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Ability to prepare data for visualization and build a clear story to support decision-making.
• Ability to visualize data and design dashboards.
• Knowledge of data concepts such as Data Warehouses, Data Marts, data extraction, and preparation processes.
• Understanding of governance and security rules when handling data.
• Understanding and knowledge of data strategy.
• Proficiency in data reporting and visualization tools (advanced MS Office - Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of SAS.
• Knowledge of Python.

Business Experience:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.

• Ability to negotiate and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of data governance and GDPR compliance.
