Senior AI Business Analyst / Functional Analyst

We are looking for a Senior AI Business Analyst / Functional Analyst to join our team and help shape, design, and deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.

In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into actionable user stories and practical solutions that create measurable value.

Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI projects is considered a strong plus, but it is not a strict requirement. Strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and a genuine interest in AI and innovation are equally important.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, and shape business opportunities where AI can create value.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
• Gather, document, and prioritise business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Act as the bridge between business users and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide stakeholders during solution design, development, testing, and adoption.
• Participate in strategic discussions with senior business leaders and decision-makers.
• Support the conceptualisation and implementation of business-oriented AI solutions.
• Ensure solutions are designed with appropriate consideration for security, privacy, and ethical principles.
• Contribute to multiple initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Business Consultant, or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and translating requirements into user stories.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with both business and technical teams.
• Experience in digital transformation, innovation, data, or AI-related projects is highly preferred.
• Experience with AI or Generative AI implementation projects is considered a strong asset.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and willingness to continuously learn and develop in this domain.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
