Senior Functional Analyst

End Date: 31/12/2026 (extendable)

Location: Brussels

Languages: Dutch/French + English

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the evolution of applications by analyzing business needs, conducting discussions, and organizing workshops to explain solutions and reach consensus.
• Determine solutions in line with IT architecture, validate them with the business, and act as an intermediary between the business and development partners.
• Document solutions and analyses in a functional design.
• Follow up on the development cycle, responsible for needs analysis and functional analysis using UML and Enterprise Architect.
• Check technical solutions proposed by partners and control the quality of development deliverables.
• Coordinate, develop, and execute test plans to ensure application quality meets production expectations.
• Manage applications together with developers, evaluate, analyze, and document identified bugs, and follow up on their resolution.
• Provide second-line support in the event of incidents and intervene in problem management.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrable experience with Agile & Scrum methodology.
• Ability to provide precise and meticulous analyses during interviews.
• Proven experience as a functional analyst (10 years).
• Proven experience in the IT or digital sector (10 years).
• Proven experience as a tester (5 years).
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in managing web applications.
• Proven experience in SQL and databases, with the ability to consult databases to support analyses.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Proven experience with XML, web services, APIs, or SOAP.
• Proficiency in UML for analyses.
• Fluent English (B2), fluent in Dutch or French with intermediate knowledge of the second language (understanding & reading).
• Proven experience in mobile application management (iOS & Android).
• Proven experience with technical analysis (5 years).
• Experience with or knowledge of ITIL.
