Data Domain Architect
Location: Antwerpen
Responsibilities:
- Refine the Turing Transformation Roadmap and ensure consistent execution across teams.
- Develop and refine the Data Reference Architecture in alignment with program objectives.
- Drive the re-platforming of the data landscape from on-premise technologies to Microsoft Fabric.
- Oversee the consolidation of legacy data warehouses into a modern data platform.
- Support the decentralization of data ownership, enabling business domains to govern their own data and build reports.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and senior stakeholders to leverage data dependencies.
- Define target patterns for data consumption and integration with AI capabilities.
- Ensure integration with group-level architecture decisions.
- Support Data Solution Experts and System Experts in migration and consolidation efforts.
- Coach internal teams to enhance the maturity of Data and Solution Architecture practices.
Profile and Experience:
- Senior, hands-on Domain Architect with expertise in modern data platforms and Enterprise IT Architecture.
- Strong communicator and stakeholder manager with the ability to enforce architectural direction.
- Experience in coaching and raising the maturity of architecture teams.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and modeling notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN, and TOGAF.
- Native Dutch speaker with professional proficiency in English; knowledge of French and/or German is advantageous.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with modern data technologies, including data lakes, Spark, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft data platforms, including design and governance.
- Experience in data governance environments and AI tooling within data practices.
- Proven ability to define and enforce target architecture in complex IT environments.
- BI/reporting experience, preferably with Power BI.
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Engineering and architecture frameworks.
Optional Experience:
- Experience with dbt and Python.
- Microsoft Cloud and Data certifications (e.g., AZ-900, DP-700, PL-300).
- Prior experience aligning local data landscapes with wider group architecture.

- Dutch: Mother tongue
- English: Very good knowledge, both speaking and writing
- French: Basic knowledge
- German: Basic knowledge
