Scrum Master 

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: 15/10 (with possibility of extension)

Work Regime: Full-time, 3 days on-site

Location: Brussels

Languages: Dutch/French + English, bilingualism is a significant advantage

• Previous experience with the client
• Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and French, both spoken and written at a business level

Role Summary:

The Scrum Master will be an expert in Scrum, responsible for upholding this development and cultural philosophy. The role involves building practices that enable high-quality rapid development and requires experience with large-scale products. The mission is to enhance organizational efficiency, protect processes, and remove team blockers. Technical expertise is necessary to address technical blockers.

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Expertise in Scrum
• Experience in training new agile teams
• Proficiency in building business cases and analyzing business scenarios
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Background in technology to understand team blockers
• Good understanding of Secure Development processes
• Experience managing large product backlogs
• Ability to implement AI tools to enhance quality, process, and efficiency

Duties Include:

• Removing blockers for the team
• Running daily rituals for multiple teams
• Acting as a leader in the Agile process
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Business Analysts to structure the backlog
• Brokering excellent relationships outside of the team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take direction well and work independently
• Desire to continuously improve and learn rapidly
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor

Additional Pluses:

• Experience working on a Scrum team with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
