Description:

As a Solution Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing high-level solutions created by the Solution Architect and providing feedback based on current system implementations and industry best practices.
• Detailing high-level solutions for use by development teams, infrastructure teams, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Identifying technical components of the solution to produce a modular, reusable, and flexible design.
• Determining optimal hosting platform requirements.
• Designing and identifying interfaces and connection types between components in alignment with general interaction principles.
• Detailing security implementations required for the solution.
• Detailing Disaster Recovery solutions for the application when needed.
• Producing detailed design diagrams.
• Designing APIs in line with customer enterprise API guidelines and industry best practices.
• Ensuring solution implementation adheres to technology, infrastructure, and security standards of the customer enterprise.
• Reviewing non-functional test results and making necessary adaptations to the solution design.
• Participating in technical reviews and guiding development teams.
• Supporting interfacing applications in their solution discussions.
• Performing any other solution design activities specific to the application in scope.

Conformity Criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Solution Designer.
• Demonstrable experience with microservices architecture (minimum 5 years).
• Demonstrable working experience with integration with SAAS solutions.
• Availability to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Core Java Proficiency: Effective use of OOP, collections, streams, and exception handling.
• Frameworks & Libraries: Application of Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, and testing frameworks.
• API Design & Integration: Designing clean, reusable REST APIs while respecting standards and security.
