Job Description

As a Medior Systems Engineer Citrix, you will join the virtual platform team, focusing on delivering applications virtually to end-users. You will be instrumental in building an operational team and ensuring high-quality support with a strong emphasis on security and customer satisfaction. Collaboration with various support teams within the organization will be a key part of your role.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level support, performing troubleshooting to resolve issues, supported by 3rd line and maintaining communication with 1st line.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in a Windows and Citrix environment; network environment experience is a plus.
• Maintain good knowledge of security technologies for integration, configuration, and maintenance within a modern endpoint platform.
• Conduct maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor performance, system availability, reliability, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
• Adhere to configuration and change management policies for change awareness, approval, and success.
• Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the security team.
• Interact with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-solving.
• Configure and install various devices and services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong analytical skills and flexibility to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Initiative-taking and quick learning abilities.
• Effective day-to-day work management and priority setting.
• Customer-oriented and solution-oriented mindset.
• Basic to extensive knowledge of operating systems.
• Experience with Citrix is a must; Windows experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of network (security) technologies such as Firewall, VPN is a benefit.

Language Proficiency

Ability to communicate (write & speak) in English; Dutch is a benefit.

Technical Skills

• Citrix (must have)
• Windows (nice to have)
