For a client we are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with a focus on F5 Load Balancing and F5 DDOS protection. This role is set to commence as soon as possible and will extend through December 31, 2024.

Location: Antwerpen
Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing perimeter architecture.
• Working on infrastructure-as-code, automation, and self-servicing within the F5 domain.
• Managing F5 technologies including LTM/DNS (GSLB) and AFM/DHD (L3-L4 DDOS).
• Utilizing automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, and familiarizing with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts/usage.
• Operating forward proxy tooling such as Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway or similar tools.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer with a focus on F5 Load Balancing and F5 DDOS protection.
• Strong knowledge of F5 technologies, including LTM/DNS (GSLB) and AFM/DHD (L3-L4 DDOS).
• Experience with system & app services automation (Ansible/AS3).
• Proficiency in automation toolings (Ansible, Terraform, Python) and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts/usage.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Familiarity with forward proxy tooling such as Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

• Fluency in English is required.
