For a client, we are seeking a Business Analyst with a focus on Balance Sheet Risk Management. This is a contract position with an end date of December 31, 2024.
Job Title: Business Analyst - Balance Sheet Risk Management
Contract Duration: Until 31/12/24
Location: Brussels
Responsibilities:
- Expand balance-sheet coverage through the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) system.
- Support the creation of a future-proof data strategy for the Balance Sheet Risk (BSR) team.
- Manage data requirements, definition, mapping, onboarding, and modelling for business-related topics.
- Collaborate with the functional development QRM team at the group level.
- Draft business requirements for data setup and follow up on their implementation.
- Perform and document testing of data flows and reinforce data controls & reconciliation between source systems and QRM data flow.
Activities:
- Implement QRM data flow for full balance sheet coverage:
- Analyze data availability and quality within source applications.
- Draft specific requirements for data implementation and align with local and group teams.
- Test and document data delivery to ensure it meets requirements.
- Enhance and document data reconciliations for existing QRM data flow scope.
- Define a future-proof data strategy for Balance Sheet Risk:
- Analyze alternative solutions for data strategy and present recommendations.
- Support the development of an implementation plan in alignment with local and group stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with data management, data modelling, and risk management systems.

Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English is required.
