Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a proactive Software Solution Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing a suite of applications that underpin our business communication. This role is ideal for someone with a robust understanding of IT applications, a zest for technology, and stellar communication skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless application functionality, address business requirements, and manage effective communication of updates or changes.

Responsibilities:

• Define functional and technical requirements for communication-focused software solutions.
• Configure applications to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate the implementation of customer requirements into existing solutions/applications.
• Drive further developments and enhancements of software in collaboration with the product team.
• Support the integration of software into the application and system landscape.
• Assist testers with the preparation, execution, and evaluation of test scenarios as needed.
• Manage operations and application maintenance in conjunction with the product team.
• Aid the product owner in license negotiations, SLA definitions, and supplier management.
• Support the product owner with IT cost estimates and team composition advice.
• Provide best practice advice to key users.
• Conduct market analysis and fit-gap analyses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with web technology, including content management systems (e.g., SiteCore, DotNetNuke, Unily).
• Proficient with MS O365 standard software.
• Experience in IT provider management and IT operations management is preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management is advantageous.
• Proven experience in the planning, development, operation, and enhancement of applications or software systems (standard or custom).
• Familiarity with agile methodology.

Language Proficiency:

Good command of Dutch and/or French (at least C1 level) and English. German is a plus.
