For a client we are seeking a Java Cloudnative Developer

Project Duration: ASAP – December 31, 2024

Location: Vlaams-Brabant

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Python.
• Work with open systems such as Linux/Windows application servers.
• Utilize technologies and tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, and Confluence.
• Implement containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and work with AWS cloud services.
• Manage configurations with Ansible, and handle data formats like YAML/JSON.
• Participate in a rotation system for on-call duties, with an understanding that releases may require work outside of standard office hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT.
• Thorough knowledge of Python and Java.
• Experience with Linux/Windows application servers.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Confluence.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Proficiency in YAML/JSON.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Knowledge of Perl and/or front-end development is a plus.

Language Proficiency:

Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
