For a client, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure - Operational Security Engineer with a focus on Network Engineering. This role is a critical part of the Production Security team and offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the security infrastructure of a dynamic organization.

On-site Requirements: Expectation of 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting firewall rules review and analysis of permissive rules.
- Managing forbidden flows, creation of rules, and coordination with the country ProdSec team for implementation.
- Maintaining network diagrams and keeping an inventory of VLANs up-to-date.
- Creating a matrix of allowed protocols & rules between VLANs and defining standard flows.
- Coordinating the implementation of IDS/IPS.
- Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between business IT & Producer IT.
- Coordinating the migration from Anti-DDOS to Akamai.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in network security.
- Strong expertise in Firewall and Network management.
- Proficiency in English with strong written and spoken communication skills.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
- Experience with WAF, IDS/IPS, Proxy, and Akamai is advantageous.
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud & micro-segmentation is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in the field are desirable.
