For a client, we are seeking an experienced F5 Big IP Specialist to join a dynamic Middleware team. This role is focused on managing application configurations for a multitude of applications and ensuring the implementation of Web Application Firewall (WAF) features at both technical and procedural levels.

Job Title: F5 Big IP Specialist
Project Duration: Start date ASAP - End date 31/12/2024 (extension possible)
Location: Brussel, with the option for partial remote work and a minimum of one day per week on-site.
Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) features on F5 Big IP, with a focus on the ASM module.
• Automate operational and configuration tasks to improve F5 Big IP usage efficiency, leveraging the LTM module and AS3 framework.
• Enhance service knowledge for customers by providing detailed information on configurations, metrics, configuration views, and alerts.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in high-volume application configuration environments.
• Understanding of industrialization, multi-tenancy, and isolation concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure automation at a junior level or higher.
• Expertise in infrastructure operation.

Skills:

• Confirmed proficiency in F5 Big IP.
• Confirmed experience with Web Application Firewall.

Language Proficiency:

• Active knowledge of Dutch or French.
