For a client, we are seeking a System Test Engineer (Medior/Senior Level)

Project Duration: ASAP - December 31, 2024

Location: Antwerpen

Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Management: Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automation: Implement and enhance test automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Testing: Conduct independent functional and non-functional testing.
• UI Test Automation: Set up and maintain automated UI testing frameworks.
• Integration Testing: Develop and refine integration testing for .NET + HttpClient.
• Testing Strategy: Define and execute testing strategies across development levels, including code, pipelines, releases, integration, and feature toggling.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues between front-end and back-end solutions.
• Collaboration: Partner with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to streamline the software delivery process.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement monitoring tools to ensure application performance and availability.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a relevant role.
• Technical Background: Proficiency in a Microsoft environment (Visual Studio, C#, Git, MS SQL Server).
• API Testing: Proven experience with testing APIs and web services (SOAP and REST/RESTful) in a SOA environment.
• Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, preferably C#.
• CI/CD Integration: Familiarity with Azure DevOps integration.
• UI Test Automation: Experience with tools like Selenium.
• Large Environment Experience: Background in working within large, complex environments with a DevOps culture.
• Critical Thinking and Communication: Strong analytical skills and effective communication as a team player.
• Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git or similar systems.
• Unit Testing: Understanding of unit testing principles.
• TDD: Knowledge of transitioning to Test Driven Development.
• Contract Testing: Experience with creating stubs and drivers/contract testing.
• Offshore Teams: Experience in collaborating with offshore teams.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• ISTQB or similar testing methodology certification.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English is required.
