BI Data Engineering Team Coordinator

For a client, we are seeking a seasoned BI Data Engineering Team Coordinator to join our data warehouse team. This role involves coordinating new business projects and resolving production issues within a small team environment. The successful candidate will be interfacing with business stakeholders and both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring standardized development delivery and operational follow-up.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension based on project evolution)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the developments within one or more functional domains in collaboration with business clients, IS business teams, and team colleagues.
• Ensure the quality of developments, adhering to defined standards and testing requirements.
• Plan activities using internal tools and ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
• Understand and master the functional and applicative BI domain of a business line.
• Gather business requirements and define solutions with the client.
• Assist in the design of data patrimonies and maintain coherence over time.
• Lead or assist in creating and communicating status reports, project plans, and risk mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• University Graduate or Professional Bachelor's degree, ideally with a Master's in Information Science, Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Structured, proactive, flexible, pragmatic, and results-oriented.
• Hands-on problem solver with stress resistance and a quality-driven approach.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small team setting.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of BI principles.
• Experience in analysis, efficient testing techniques, and performant coding capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of corporate practices, processes, and standards.
• Experience with Azure cloud (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Flow).

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft BI Tools (PowerBI).
• Mastery of scheduling principles and techniques (CTRL/M).
• Experience in data modeling techniques through projects.

Language Proficiency:

Dutch and French (one fluent and the other at least basic).
