Data Engineer & Production Support Analyst

For a client, we are seeking a Data Engineer & Production Support Analyst to join our team.

This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in data engineering and production support, looking to contribute to a critical area of our client's operations.

Project Duration:

The position is set to start on 18/11/2024 and is initially up to 9 months, with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Data Architect & Operationalisation Technical Lead to support the delivery and deployment of the Privilege Technical Account (PTA) Inventory to Production Infrastructure.
  • Participate in the build, test, documentation, and deployment processes, ensuring alignment with project governance and IDAM data model requirements.
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support post-launch, including warranty support and handover to the IDAM Infrastructure Operations team.
  • Design secure solutions, document them in standard templates, and obtain necessary sign-offs.
  • Identify security risks and exposures, recommend changes, and implement enhancements.
  • Work alongside other projects with dependencies on the PTA Inventory, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling & Data Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience with PowerShell in a Windows Operating System environment.
  • 2-3 years of experience with SQL Server, particularly in writing and maintaining Stored Procedures.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in full software development lifecycle product launches, including warranty support.
  • 1+ years of Operational Production Support in a Level 2/Level 3 context using ticketing technologies like ServiceNow.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
  • Hands-on experience with data dictionary, lineage, and management tools & concepts, preferably Collibra.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and concepts.
  • Familiarity with technology platforms such as Windows, Unix, and Network.
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools and techniques for automating routine tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI for reporting and dashboards.
  • Understanding of access control and management principles.
  • Awareness of IAM Privileged Access Management processes.
  • Professional certification in CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent is a plus.
Language Proficiency:

Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
