Senior Ops Engineer (Kubernetes, Openshift)

For a client, we are seeking a Senior Ops Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and Openshift to join the team. This role is a blend of new development, bug fixing, maintenance, and documentation, with a focus on supporting delivery teams in creating secure and efficient software.

Project Duration: ASAP – December 31, 2025
Location: Vlaams-Brabant (50% onsite required)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the on-prem cloud environment based on Kubernetes/Openshift.
• Provide reusable components such as logging, metrics, AMQ, and vulnerability scanning.
• Manage global resource management, including adding nodes and new products to the platform.
• Ensure delivery teams have access to necessary documentation, checklists, and best practices.
• Participate in a rotation to answer questions from delivery developers.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience with Kubernetes is essential.
• Experience with Openshift is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, Victoria Metrics, Kibana, Grafana, and Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) is advantageous.
