For a client, we are seeking a Senior Cloud Native Development Engineer :

Project Duration: ASAP – December 31, 2025
Location: Leuven (50% onsite required)

Responsibilities:

• Comprehend functional designs based on specifications.
• Develop program structures from technical designs.
• Work with micro-services design, API integration, lambda, and container technology.
• Create and execute test cases, and modify existing programs for production.
• Update design documents with related changes.
• Conduct self and peer code reviews.
• Resolve assigned incidents and defects, tracking to closure.
• Execute technical integration testing in relation to interfacing applications.
• Collaborate with a team to build and maintain the Pallas framework, including new development, bug fixing, and documentation.
• Participate in a rotation system to support less experienced developers.

Qualifications:

• Independent worker with a passion for coding.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.

Preferred Experience:

• PAAS/IAAS platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL.
• Front-end application development and RESTful web services, JSON.
• Tools: Maven, Jenkins, Git.
• Knowledge of encryption, security, and authentication protocols (oAuth).
• Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
