For a client, we are seeking a Contract Manager/Technical Writer with experience in the energy sector. This full-time assignment is set to start no later than January and is intended for a long-term engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage contract management of Outage Planning and Scheduling, Congestion Management, Voltage Control and Reactive Power, Black start, and Grid losses.
• Draft contracts (Terms and conditions) based on specific design documents, ensuring they are approved through a consultation process with external parties and the regulator.
• Coordinate with external market parties for questions, trainings, and negotiations with suppliers.
• Communicate market parties' concerns/analysis to the internal project organization for potential improvements.
• Ensure operational processes reflect contractual principles and incorporate design and contract improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the Market Development team, leading to intense conceptual discussions and contract drafting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree in a legal or technical field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience with a relevant party in the energy sector.
• Proven experience in drafting contractual/technical documents.

Skills:

• Fluency in English (contract drafting language), and proficiency in French or Dutch.
• Analytical mindset with excellent contractual/technical writing skills.
• Clear communication abilities.
• Autonomous worker with initiative, result-oriented, and a team player.
