Job Description
Our client is seeking two experienced Solution Architects to join their Non-Life team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in designing and refining architecture for high-impact domains: Claims and Document & Content Management. These roles are designed to strengthen our architecture team for the upcoming year. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the bridge between business and IT, facilitating functional discussions with stakeholders to define scope and solution requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including frontend integration, .NET backend, and Cobol teams, to ensure cohesive architectural designs.
- Develop and refine the solution architecture to align with both business objectives and IT strategies.
- In the Claims domain, support ongoing migration to a new case and process management tool, with a focus on motor, fire, workman’s compensation, and legal protection insurance.
- In the Document & Content Management domain, contribute to the technical migration of our archival solution, enhance document indexing, metadata management, and search functionality.
- Maintain regular communication and collaboration within our extensive development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
Requirements
- Experience: minimum of 4-5 years as a Solution Architect, preferably within a large enterprise setting. Experience in financial or insurance sectors is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with enterprise technology stacks such as Cobol, .NET, Azure Cloud (including Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions), and REST APIs. ArchiMate knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Able to develop a high-level overview while having the ability to deep dive into technical details.
- Languages: Proficiency in English, with knowledge of either Dutch or French (both are not required).
