For a client we are seeking a Senior Test Engineer:

Start Date: 01/12/2024
End Date: 31/12/2025
On-Site Requirement: 40% on-site, 60% teleworking

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for migration strategies.
• Create detailed runbooks for migration scenarios, including timings, dependencies, and critical attention points.
• Ensure conditions for execution of migration testing are met.
• Conduct and validate dry runs of migration scenarios for accuracy and completeness.
• Normalize and compare large datasets to ensure consistency between source and target environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
• Maintain progress reports on testing milestones, challenges, and solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the new platform.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in testing migration strategies and validating dry runs of migration scenarios.
• Recent experience in the financial services sector, with transaction banking experience being a plus.
• Strong documentation skills, particularly in creating detailed runbooks.
• Proficiency in normalizing and comparing large datasets (mention the tools mastered).
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous involvement in projects involving the overhaul of IT platforms for financial institutions.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of French is preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree or equivalent by experience, preferably in IT, engineering, or applied economics/commercial engineering.

Certification:

• Relevant certifications are advantageous.
