For a client, we are seeking an Operations Officer - KYC Officer:
Start Date: Asap
End Date: 31/12/2025
Location: Brussel, with an expectation of 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply the full KYC process, including cross-border aspects, based on legal and international requirements and processes.
- Manage a portfolio of KYC files to update, including analysis of the type of information/documents required from clients.
- Contact clients and follow up to ensure timely receipt of requested information.
- Ensure file completeness and encode information in the systems.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and/or compliance departments to address potential issues and find solutions.
- Communicate progress and any potential difficulties with the team manager.
- Maintain communications with clients in French, Dutch, or English.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field (economics, law, business management).
- Experience in KYC processes and tasks with corporate clients is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with various IT tools.
Desired Skills:
- Strong interest in finance and banking products.
- Experience in the banking KYC domain.
- Commercial experience.
Language Proficiency:
- Dutch: Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- French: Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- English: Good level (also written).
