For a client in Vlaams-Brabant, we are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. This project is set to commence on February 1, 2025, with an initial duration of 6 months and the possibility of extension in 6-month increments. The role will operate on a full-time basis, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote work per week.

Project Duration:

Location:

• Hybrid Work Model: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Develop user interfaces with ASP.NET MVC, integrating front-end technologies such as CSS and JavaScript.
• Create and maintain WinForms applications for desktop solutions.
• Design and develop RESTful and SOAP web services for integration and interoperability.
• Develop and maintain Windows services for background operations and automated tasks.
• Manage and optimize SQL database performance, primarily on SQL Server, and utilize SSIS for data integration.
• Employ Entity Framework for ORM and ensure efficient data management.
• Apply design patterns to create modular, reusable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and changing project requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best development practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Proven experience with WinForms and web services development (REST, SOAP).
• Experience in developing Windows services.
• Solid understanding of SQL, experience with SQL Server, and knowledge of SSIS.
• Excellent command of Entity Framework.
• Good knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and a deep understanding of design patterns.
• High capacity for adaptation to work in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.

Desired Skills:

• Strong technical background in developing robust and scalable software solutions.
• Practical experience with ASP.NET MVC, WinForms, and web and Windows services development.
• Good knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Language Proficiency:

• Fluency in English is required.
